Coventry entered their tilt with Ravenna on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They breezed by the Ravenna Ravens to the tune of 74-42. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Coventry was led to victory by Kameryn Kennerly and Reggie Edwards. Kennerly went 10 of 19 en route to 27 points along with eight boards and three steals, while Edwards dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Kennerly's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Meinen, who posted 13 points.

Coventry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Coventry's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Ravenna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coventry will venture away from home to square off against Ellet at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ravenna, they will host Cardinal at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
