The Beach Bulldogs will face off against the Baldwin Braves at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.

Beach is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since February 4th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out South Effingham 52-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Lambert led the charge by going 6-for-10 on his way to 17 points. The dominant performance also gave Lambert a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (71%). Kejuan Ferguson was another key player, putting up nine points and six steals.

Meanwhile, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Baldwin made off with a 64-63 victory over Putnam County.

Baldwin had a senior duo take command as Karez Demory dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds and Jared Mundie shot 47% from the field en route to 20 points and eight boards. Demory's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylen King, who posted seven points.

Baldwin's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Beach, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Beach suffered a grim 76-50 defeat to Baldwin in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
