Meigs lost to Wellston back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Marauders blew past the Golden Rockets 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Marauders.

One reason for the win was Meigs' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-7.

Meigs was led to victory by Chloe Burnem and Gracie Yost. Burnem had ten digs and seven aces, while Yost had seven digs and five aces. Burnem is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Meigs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meigs' record now sits at 5-10. As for Wellston, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Meigs has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Vinton County on the 24th. As for Wellston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Athens on the 25th.
