Basketball Recap: Mt. Olive Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from David Schoen and Tanner Milkovich + How To Watch

Mt. Olive lost against Farina South Central back in November of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 42-40.

Tanner Milkovich and David Schoen certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Milkovich went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points and three steals, while Schoen shot 60% from the field en route to 12 points and five boards.

Mt. Olive now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Farina South Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Mt. Olive won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lebanon at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Farina South Central, they and St. Elmo/Brownstown will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
