Basketball Recap: Miramar Drops Season-High Score on Seffner Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miramar). They were the clear victors by a 70-45 margin over the Seffner Christian Crusaders on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Despite the loss, Seffner Christian still got an impressive performance from Arcadian Davis, who posted 23 points and seven rebounds. Davis is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Tyndale Pittman was another key player, putting up four points and seven boards.

Miramar's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Seffner Christian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miramar will welcome Cooper City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will be up against the Cowboys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Seffner Christian, they will be playing at home against Winthrop College Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
