Softball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Einstein

Einstein came out on top against Seneca Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run second inning. The Titans were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Screaming Eagles. Considering the Titans have won four contests by more than 11 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Paulina Mann made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lorelei Scope was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Natalia Day, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Einstein pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Seneca Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Einstein will welcome Blair at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Seneca Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gaithersburg at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
