Softball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the North Paulding Wolfpack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-0 back in August.

Wheeler saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rhea Karmacharya, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for North Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

While Wheeler had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
