Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Silver Takes a Loss

IMG Academy Silver lost against Mulberry back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The IMG Academy Silver Ascenders came up short against the Mulberry Panthers, falling 12-2.

IMG Academy Silver saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JP Piles, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Carter Rivera also deserves some recognition as he stolen his first stolen base of the season.

IMG Academy Silver's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mulberry, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

IMG Academy Silver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Fort Meade on the 20th. As for Mulberry, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Lakeland on the 20th.
