Basketball Recap: Englewood Gets the Win

Englewood won the last time they faced River City Science Academy and Jahmari Adub did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rams blew past the Rockets 70-13 on Tuesday thanks in part to Adub, who went 10-for-12 on his way to 27 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Pierre, who posted eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Englewood now has a winning record of 2-1. As for River City Science Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Englewood will take on Sandalwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River City Science Academy, they will challenge St. Johns Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
