Basketball Game Preview: Clearwater Valley Rams vs. Kamiah Kubs

The Clearwater Valley Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Kamiah Kubs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Clearwater Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Troy by a score of 62-53 on Saturday.

Clearwater Valley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Taya Pfefferkorn, who went 10 of 19 en route to 23 points, and Eva Lundgren, who went 8 for 17 on her way to 18 points.

Meanwhile, Kamiah came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Knights 40-21.

Kamiah pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.3 points per game. As for Clearwater Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Clearwater Valley came up short against Kamiah in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 45-36. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Kamiah's Emma Krogh, who posted 32 points.
