Volleyball Recap: Northwest Webster Comes Up Short

Northwest Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Akron-Westfield Westerners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Northwest Webster now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Akron-Westfield, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Northwest Webster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Alta-Aurelia on the 27th. As for Akron-Westfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Storm Lake on the 27th.
