Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Takes a Loss

St. Mary lost against Durham Academy last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Saints came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 3-0. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While St. Mary's had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-21.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Durham Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ravenscroft at 5:45 p.m. As for Durham Academy, they will head out to take on Jordan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
