Meadowbrook Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors 3-2. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

MADISON SUMNER paced Meadowbrook Academy's offense, picking up 26 kills. SUMNER got some help from IVA FEARON and her 17 assists.

Despite the loss, Seven Rivers Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kloe Bonick had 37 digs. Those 37 digs set a new season-high mark for Bonick.

Meadowbrook Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Seven Rivers Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 18-9 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Meadowbrook Academy will be playing at home against Redeemer Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
