Volleyball Recap: Kecoughtan Comes Up Short

Kecoughtan and Menchville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kecoughtan had to settle for second. They came up short against the Monarchs, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Monarchs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Kecoughtan's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Menchville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Kecoughtan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menchville, they will square off against Woodside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
