Basketball Game Preview: Daphne Trojans vs. St. Paul's Episcopal Saints

The Daphne Trojans are taking a road trip to face off against the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Daphne is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Baldwin County on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Trojans had to suffer through a 69-41 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-13.

Meanwhile, St. Paul's Episcopal came up short against Orange Beach on Monday and fell 43-36.

Daphne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.

Daphne beat St. Paul's Episcopal 58-46 in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
