Volleyball Recap: Comsewogue Takes a Loss

Comsewogue lost against Hauppauge back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

Comsewogue started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-15.

Comsewogue's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hauppauge, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comsewogue will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smithtown West at 5:45 p.m. on the 20th. As for Hauppauge, they will host West Islip at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
