Baseball Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss

Wayne County came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Southwestern Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Wayne County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 19-14. As for Southwestern, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-15.

As of now, neither Wayne County nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
