Volleyball Game Preview: Granger Lancers vs. Clearfield Falcons

The Granger Lancers will venture away from home to take on the Clearfield Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Granger will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Granger was able to grind out a solid victory over Kearns, taking the game 3-1.

Clearfield not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Roy. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Clearfield's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19, 25-11.

Clearfield's record is now 17-9. As for Granger, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Granger came up short against Clearfield in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, falling 2-0. Can the Lancers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
