Memorial Day has gone a perfect 4-0 against Savannah Classical Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Matadors are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Memorial Day took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They snuck past Bible Baptist Christian with a 42-37 victory.

Memorial Day found their leader in freshman Cedrick Brown, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taurion Holloway, who scored seven points.

Meanwhile, Savannah Classical Academy made easy work of Veritas Academy on Monday and carried off a 66-40 win.

Memorial Day's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Savannah Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
