Volleyball Game Preview: Bethel Bruins vs. Menchville Monarchs + How To Watch

Bethel hasn't had much luck against Menchville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bruins will head out on the road to face off against the Monarchs at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Bethel didn't have quite enough to beat Woodside and fell 3-2.

Bethel took Woodside into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 22-25, 19-25, 15-8.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jaida Moefaauo, who had 12 kills, nine digs, and five aces. She has been hot, having posted eight or more kills the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jill Weiss Wallace, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Menchville came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Menchville, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Bethel suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Menchville in their previous matchup back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Monarchs' Emma Wade, who had eight digs and seven aces. Now that the Bruins know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
