Flag Football Recap: Mt. Zion Comes Up Short on the Road Against Heard County

Mt. Zion had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 47-7 loss at the hands of the Heard County Braves. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Mt. Zion will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rockmart at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Heard County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-6 win against Alexander on the 8th.
