Football Recap: Norcross Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Norcross dropped to 6-4 on Thursday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They were dealt a 43-8 loss at the hands of the Brookwood Broncos. The Blue Devils lost against the Broncos in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 25-13 score last time.

As for Brookwood, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games.

Leading Brookwood to victory were Brayden Tyson and Gary Chatman. Tyson gained 158 total yards and two touchdowns, while Chatman rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. Chatman got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 60 yards. Another big playmaker for Brookwood was Bryce Green, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Norcross and Grayson will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Rams' defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. Brookwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
