Centerpoint is 8-2 against Prescott since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Centerpoint Knights will welcome the Prescott Curley Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Centerpoint strolled past Smackover with points to spare, taking the game 46-28. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Buckaroos are ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Prescott waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-46 victory over the Dragons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Curley Wolves have posted since November 27, 2023.

Centerpoint has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Prescott, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Centerpoint was able to grind out a solid victory over Prescott when the teams last played back in January, winning 53-40. Will Centerpoint repeat their success, or does Prescott have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
