Football Recap: Pocono Mountain East Cardinals vs. Whitehall Zephyrs
After flying high against Pleasant Valley last Saturday, Pocono Mountain East came back down to earth. The Cardinals took a 35-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitehall Zephyrs on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Zephyrs: they've now lost five in a row.
Ceejay Serfass threw for 165 yards and one TD. Justin Williams was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Amari Green rushed for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
