Basketball Recap: Southeast Alamance Comes Up Short

Southeast Alamance was the 70-62 winner over Northwood when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Stallions took a hard 71-56 fall against the Chargers on Tuesday.

Northwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Brown out in front who shot 42% from the field to rack up 18 points and four steals. Those 18 points gave Brown a new career-high. Bakari Watkins was another key player, going 7-for-9 en route to 19 points and six rebounds.

Southeast Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northwood, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Southeast Alamance will challenge Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 8:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Northwood, they will face off against E.E. Smith at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
