It was a good run, but Otay Ranch unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 7-4 to the Mission Bay Buccaneers.

Santiago Araiza was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Otay Ranch saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Ulloa, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Otay Ranch suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Mission Bay, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.
