1A Northwest recap November 19, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A Northwest this week, Mt. Baker beat Woodland 42-7. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Mt. Baker made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 933 from 1,153. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 42-7 victory over the Beavers last week.
Nooksack Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tanner Myhre has thrown for 2,142 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Connor Beard has 18 catches for 479 yards. Myhre also leads the league in rushing with 815 yards.
Ron Lepper's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 42 points on Woodland.
