Volleyball Recap: Mid Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Mid Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Forest City on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Susquehanna Sabers on Thursday. The Spartans have struggled against the Sabers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Mid Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Arianna Vitaletti had nine digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Krista Demboski, who had six blocks and one assist.

Mid Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Susquehanna, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Mid Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against West Scranton on the 7th. As for Susquehanna, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Scranton on the 6th.
