Ozaukee hadn't done well against Random Lake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors blew past the Rams 3-0. The Warriors were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Rams, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

One reason for the win was Ozaukee's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Adalyn Krenek paced Ozaukee's offense, picking up nine kills. Krenek got some help from Helen Utecht and her 20 assists. Maddy Barnes controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory got Ozaukee back to even at 2-2. As for Random Lake, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Ozaukee will head out to take on Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Random Lake, they will host Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
