Hoosier Crossroads recap November 13, 2013

Westfield extended the longest winning streak in Hoosier Crossroads this week by beating McCutcheon, 45-21. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.

Westfield took down the Mavericks 45-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nick Ferrer threw for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.

Jake Gilbert's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Elvin Caldwell contributed 136 yards. Sam Walden helped Westfield's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 67 yards.

He went 8-10 with 0 interceptions.

Caldwell was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 136 yards on 12 carries as the Shamrocks beat McCutcheon.

Westfield's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Shamrocks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ferrer has thrown for 2,069 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Devin Reece has 59 catches for 862 yards.

Accruing a total of 18 touchdowns this year, Connor Christiansen has thrown for 1,865 yards with 5 interceptions.

Harrison made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,067 from 7,153.
