Football Recap: Klein Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Klein had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 6-4 to make it four. They lost to the Magnolia Bulldogs on the road by a 38-22 margin. The contest marked the Bearkats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Klein still got an impressive performance from Edward Kelly Jr, who rushed for 165 yards and one score, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and one TD. Kelly Jr's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.

As for Magnolia, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.3 points on average over those games.

Magnolia was led to victory by Cash Ferrell and Chase Lowery. Ferrell gained 152 total yards, while Lowery threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes. Joseph Solomon was in the mix too, providing the Bulldogs with two scores.

As of now, neither Klein nor Magnolia have any future games scheduled.
