Volleyball Recap: Mounds Park Academy Takes a Loss

Mounds Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodbury Royals. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Mounds Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Woodbury, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-17-1.

Coincidentally, Mounds Park Academy and Woodbury will both be playing Spring Lake Park the next time they take the court. The Royals will head out to face the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
