You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Smoky Mountain's strategy against Andrews on Friday. The Mustangs blew past the Wildcats 77-55. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 71-60 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Smoky Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Brown, who went 10-for-19 on his way to 25 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Brown is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Custer Prenger was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Smoky Mountain now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Andrews, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Smoky Mountain will challenge Madison at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Andrews, they will take on Hiwassee Dam at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
