Soccer Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

Uniontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Laurel Highlands Mustangs, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Uniontown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Laurel Highlands are ranked 157th).

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Laurel Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Uniontown has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against West Mifflin on the 30th. As for Laurel Highlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against South Fayette on the 30th.
