Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Beats Beloit for Their Sixth Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ellsworth had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Beloit Trojans by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bearcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Ellsworth not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Beloit between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

Alexis Moore paced Ellsworth's offense, picking up seven kills. Moore got some help from Kinly Place and her 11 assists. Finally, Josie Kueser kept Ellsworth's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Ellsworth's victory bumped their record up to 32-8. As for Beloit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 29-10.

Ellsworth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Trinity Academy on the 30th. Beloit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
