Football Recap: Port Allen Falls Short of Oak Grove in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Port Allen and Oak Grove squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Port Allen had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 47-0. While losing is never fun, the Pelicans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Tigers are ranked 61st).

Port Allen has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Oak Grove, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Port Allen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Grove, they will challenge Richwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
