On Tuesday Chloe Rowland struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). The effort marked the fewest hits Rowland has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two walks. For the season, she has an ERA of 4.76 over 64.7 innings pitched.
