Softball Recap: Cypress Falls Comes Up Short

Cypress Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Jersey Village Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Cypress Falls saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasmine Shaw, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Cypress Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Jersey Village, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-22 record this season.

Cypress Falls didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Stratford on the 9th. As for Jersey Village, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Cypress Ridge on the 9th.
