Basketball Game Preview: Bibb County Choctaws vs. Hillcrest Patriots + How To Watch

Bibb County hasn't had much luck against Hillcrest recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Choctaws are taking a road trip to take on the Patriots at 1:30 p.m.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Bibb County and Montevallo, and Montevallo kept the tradition alive. The Choctaws took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs last Saturday.

Bibb County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Artavious Crews, who posted 14 points, and Dei'Anthony Cutts, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Hillcrest over Sipsey Valley in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Patriots blew the Bears out of the water with a 52-25 final score. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bibb County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Bibb County ended up a good deal behind Hillcrest in their previous meeting back in January, losing 67-53. Can the Choctaws avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
