Basketball Recap: Admiral Farragut Finds Home Court Redemption Against Out-Of-Door Academy

There's no place like home for Admiral Farragut, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They came out on top against the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder by a score of 27-19 on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the BlueJackets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the defeat, Out-of-Door Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sophia Jobe went 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jobe has scored all season.

Admiral Farragut's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Admiral Farragut will face off against St. Petersburg Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gulf Coast HEAT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gulf Coast HEAT's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Out-of-Door Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
