Volleyball Recap: Praise Academy Comes Up Short

Praise Academy lost against Unity Christian back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Praise Academy came up short against Unity Christian, falling 3-0. Praise Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Praise Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Unity Christian work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 27-25.

Among those leading the charge was Ella Claire Goodwin, who had 30 assists and two aces. Those 30 assists gave her a new career-high.

Praise Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Unity Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Praise Academy will challenge Georgia-Cumberland Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Unity Christian, they will square off against Hearts Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
