Mountain View Academy lost against Stratford Prep back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 13-25, 25-5, 25-18.

Mountain View Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexandra Pearse, who had 17 digs.

Stratford Prep found their leader in sophomore Riana Parikh, who had eight digs and five aces. Parikh has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Mountain View Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Stratford Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Mountain View Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against ACE Charter on the 8th. As for Stratford Prep, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Luis Valdez Leadership Academy on the 8th.
