Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Duanesburg

Duanesburg entered their tilt with Berne-Knox-Westerlo on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Bulldogs. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly six runs.

Ayden Fall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Logan Mienaltowski, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI and one run. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Reese, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Duanesburg's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
