Heritage picks up fifth straight win on the road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millbrook, the Heritage Huskies were happy to have found some success on Friday. They had just enough and edged Knightdale out 53-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Heritage has posted since December 12, 2023.

Heritage's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryder Strand, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was KJ Cox, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.

Knightdale's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Adams, who scored nine points along with 19 rebounds and four blocks. Adams continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Khaim Taylor was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
