Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rocky Hill Terriers. If the Warhawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Terriers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bloomfield was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Rocky Hill work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 28-26.

Ashley Fetzko was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five aces and two assists. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rocky Hill, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Bloomfield has already played their next match (against East Hartford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rocky Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Platt on the 19th.
