Football Recap: Haddonfield Bulldawgs vs. Lower Cape May Tigers
Haddonfield had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Lower Cape May Tigers 28-13 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldawgs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Tigers are ranked 94th).
Brody Leonard was his usual excellent self, rushing for 234 yards and two scores, while also picking up 39 receiving yards and one touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Haddonfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
