Volleyball Recap: Williamstown Takes a Loss

If Williamstown was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Harrison on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets fell 2-0 to the Philip Barbour Colts on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Thursday.

Williamstown's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Philip Barbour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6-1 record this season.

Williamstown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against James Monroe on the 4th. As for Philip Barbour, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Clay County on the 4th.
