Basketball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carmel can now relate to. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 51-32 to the Noblesville Millers. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Millers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Noblesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Noblesville, they will face off against Hamilton Southeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton Southeastern knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Noblesville likes a good challenge.
