Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy kept up with Jackson Day until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Mariners put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 9-2 victory. Considering Jackson Day have won six matchups by more than five goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Alex Mathey led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Jackson Day and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two contests. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
