Nokomis strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Calvary Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

While Nokomis won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Mackenzie Mehochko paced Nokomis' offense, picking up 12 kills. Mehochko got some help from Kinley Stolte and her 20 assists. Mehochko was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Nokomis' win bumped their record up to 30-0. As for Calvary, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season.

Nokomis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mt. Olive on the 25th. As for Calvary, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Mendon Unity on the 25th.
